My time in Buenos Aires

Ihr erinnert euch vielleicht, ganz am Anfang unserer Zeit hier waren wir schon mal im Tigredelta, zusammen mit unseren columbianischen Nachbarn. Diesesmal sind wir richtig auf die Inseln gefahren und haben zwei entspannte Tage mit Moara und Matias dort verbracht. Die beiden kennen nämlich jemanden, der wiederrum jemanden kennt, dessen Vater von seinem besten Freund eine kleine Hütte vererbt bekommen hat. Das Häuschen gehört eindeutig zu den älteren im ganzen Delta (kurz nach dem ersten Weltkrieg kam besagter bester Freund aus Polen), ist im schwedischen Stil gebaut und wild umwuchert, weil sich grad niemand so richtig drum kümmert. Innen ist es eine reine Fundgrube an sonderbaren und weniger sonderbaren Mitbringsel aus der ganzen Welt. Angeblich ist mit diesem Haus auch noch eine romantische Liebesgeschichte verbunden, aber das wissen wir nur von einer Nachbarin, die sich mit uns unterhalten hat, während ihr Mann versucht hat, herauszufinden, ob das Feuer, dass auf der andern Seite der Insel ausgebrochen war, unsere Seite und "unsere" Häuser gefährdet oder nicht... *** Maybe you remember, we allready went to Tigre once, in the very beginning of our time here with our lovely columbian neighbours. This time we went really into the Delta and stayed two days there with Matias and Moara. The two are very good friend with somebody, that knows somebody, whose dad recived a little cabin on one of the islands from a very good friend. (the cabin is clearly one of the oldest in the delta, the friend arrived during the first world war from Poland), it is very a like the swedisch houses, with a lot of wood, and the garden around is just... really green and wild... at the moment there is hardly anyone taking care about the place. Inside it's like a museum of stuff (strange and less strange) from all over the world. They say, that there was also a romantic lovestory in that cabin, what that we do only know from a neighbour, that talked to us, while her husband tried to find out, if the fire that was on the other side of the island, affected us and "our" houses or not... *** Como talvez recuerden, nosotros ya fuimos a Tigre, con nuestros vecinos amables de Colombia, cuando recien llegamos. Esta vez fuimos realmente EN el Delta en una isla, para dormir ahi con Moara y Matias. Ellos conocen a alguien, que conoce a alguin, cual papa recibio una cabana de un amigo bueno. (probablamente es una de las cabanas mas antiquas en el delta, este amigo llego despues del primer guerra mundial de Polonia). La cabana parece re de sveka, con mucha madera y en los colores tipicos. Dentro parece mas como un museo, con cosas (mas y menos raras) de todo el mundo. Tambien dicen que hay una histora de amor romantico vinculada con este cabana, pero este solo sabemos, porque nos dijo una vecina, que hablaba con nosotros mintras su marido estaba tratando de discrubir si el fuego que empiezo al otro lado de la isla afectara a nosotros y "nuestros" casas tambien... grün! * green * verde * * * Hüttenleben * living in a cabin * vivir en una cabana * * * nicht, dass ihr jetzt den völlig falschen Eindruck bekommt, wir hätten nur gegessen... das ist nicht ganz richtig! wir haben auch aufgeräumt, in der Sonne gelegen, Uno gespielt, sind geschwommen... kurz um, ein echt relaxtes Wochenende! *** I hope, you didn't get the feeling, that we were just eating... in fact, we weren't JUST eating... we also tidied up a bit, took a sunbath, played cardgames, swam in the river... it was a really relaxing weekend all together! *** Que no piensen, que solo comemos, por favor =) claro, que no SOLO comemos, tambien estabamos limpiando un poco, banando en el sol, jugando cartas, nadando... fue un finde re linda!

Theorie
Am 8.12. ist Maria Empfängnis, in Argentinien ist Feiertag und in Columbien beginnt Weihnachten. Am 7.12. wird in ganz Columbien die "Nacht der Kerzchen" gefeiert, in den verschiedenen Städten auf unterschiedliche Weise, aber es geht immer um Zusammenkommen, gemeinsam Essen, sich unterhalten, zusammensitzen, Gebete zu Gott (und/oder zu Maria, je nachdem wie katholisch man ist) und gaaaaaaaanz viele Kerzen und gute Wünsche. *** On 8.12. the catholic world celebrates immaculate concepcion In Argentina the day is a holiday and in Columbia they celebrate the "night of the (little) candles" with which christmastime begins. Though all the different places in Columbia celebrate the night in a different way, it's alsways about coming together, sharing, eating together, sitting together, talking, prayers to God (and/or to the virgin depending on how catholic one is) a looooooooooooooooooot of candles and good wishes. *** El dia 8.12. fue el dia de la Virgin. Aqui en Argentina fue feriado y en Colombia celebraron la noche de las velitas. Aunque se celebre differente en todos los lugares distinctas, siempre esta vinculado con unirse, comer juntos, compartir, hablar, celebrar, orar a Dios (y/o a la virgin, depende...) un monton de velitas y deseos lindos

Es ist schon ein bisschen erstaunlich, wie sehr für mich Weihnachten mit dem Wetter verbunden ist, das hätte ich wirklich nicht gedacht! Aber bei 30 Grad kommt einfach kein richtiges Weihnachtsfeeling auf... Rebekka meinte allerdings vor kurzem "Bei euch siehts so richtig weihnachtlich aus". Was vielleicht an unseren grandiosen Freunden (in Deutschland und hier) liegen könnte... aber guckt einfach selber =) *** It's really impressiv how much christmas is linked with the temperature - at least in MY head. But with 30 degrees it's pretty hard to feel like two weeks and a little before christmas. Though, Rebekka said the other day, that it looks really like advent in our flat. Could pretty well be, that this is because of our great friends (both, here and in Germany). But look for yourselves =) *** Me sopresa mucho, que vinculado esta el clima con navidad para mi. Geburtstagsgeschenk eines Freundes aus dem Erzgebirge. Muss unbedingt noch lernen, wie man den selber macht! *** a birthdaypresent from a friend originaly from "Erzgebirge" (looooooooooooong and cold winterevenings before christmas). Though I still have to learn how to do it (for next year). *** esto era de un amigo del "Erzgebirge" (noches muy largos y muy frios en el tiempo antes de navidad) para mi cumple. und zu guter Letzt, ein Adventskranz... auch wenn er vermutlich unter Persönlichkeitsstörungen leidet, nach dem für was er schon alles gehalten wurde... aber man muss eben mit dem arbeiten, was man hat (und kein Plastikgrün kaufen *g*) *** last but not least, an advent wreath ... though "he" himself probably is really confused about his personality after all the names he got already... but I prefer working with what I have than buy green plastic stuff *** y... por fin... una corona de adviento... aunque la corona misma probablamente tiene problemas con su personalidad por todos los nombres que ya recibio... pero a mi me parece mucho mejor trabajar con lo que hay a vez de comprar cosas verdes de plastico

ich kann mich ehrlich gesagt nicht mehr genau dran erinnern, wann ich das letzte Mal Plätzchen gebacken habe ... so viele schon gar nicht ... aber dieses Jahr ist irgendwie alles anderes =)

am 28.11. war Feiertag (nicht, dass uns jemand hätte sagen können, warum) und wir (zwei superliebe Voluntärinnen und ich) haben die Zeit genutzt und wie die Verrückten Weihnachtsplätzchen gebacken...

... 30 Grad, Gasofen, Hoffnung auf Regen, Ventilator auf Hochtouren, Kampf gegen die Mücken, Wassermelone zum Mittagessen ... und jede Menge Spaß ;-)

to be honest, i can't really recall the last time i did cookies for christmas, and I'm quiet sure, that i never did that much, but this year everything is different =)

28. 11. was a holiday (nobody could tell us, why...) and we (two very nice voluntaries and me) used the time to bake cookies like crazy...

... 30 degrees, un oven with gas, hope for rain, a ventilator which worked like crazy, fighting against moscitos, watermelon for lunch... and a really good time ;-)

realmente no puedo recordar, cuando hize galletas de navidad la ultimo vez, y tantas, seguro que nunca lo hize... pero este ano todo es differente =)

el dia 28.11. fue feriado (nadie nos pudó decir, por que, pero no importa) y utilisamos (dos voluntarias y yo) el tiempo para hacer galletas de navidad como locas ;-)

despues de este dia puedo entender por que la tradicion de hacer galletas no es tan comun aqui, con tanta calor de hecho no se puede ;-) pero igual, teniamos un tiempo muy divertido

es tut mir ein bisschen leid, aber ich finde die Farben des Frühlings hier einfach so beeindruckend, dass ich sie dauernd fotographieren und manchmal mit euch teilen muss =) hier also ein bisschen zum gucken gegen den grauen winter ...

color -> colour // calor -> heat. They usually use @ to put the femal and the masculin form in one word, e.g. Querid@s amig@s (mhm, you can't translate that in english... i never recognised that until now...) to write an a and an o at the same time

vorletzten Sonntag haben Komilitonen von uns den Gottesdienst in Villa Ballester (auch ein Stadtviertel im Norden, daher auch eine deutsch/spanische Gemeinde) gestaltet und uns mitgenommen. Es war ein sehr schöner Gottesdienst mit Taufe =)

two weeks ago, some collegues of us prepared the worship in Villa Ballester (another part in the north of the city, so it's one of the german/spanish parishes) and took us with them. It was a very nice worship with baptism =)

dos semanas antes some coleg@s de nosotros hizieron el culto en Villa Ballester (otra iglesia bilingue en el norde de la cuidad) y nos llevaron para ver lo. Fue muy lindo - con bauptismo =)



Wer das Gefühl hat, diese Kirche schon mal gesehen zu haben, hat fast Recht. Die Kirche in Martinez sieht nahezu genauso aus, es ist der gleiche Architekt (er hat auch noch andere Kirchen der IERP geplant)

Who feels like having seen that church allready is nearly right. The church of martinez looks quite similar because it's the same architect (he also designed some other IERP churches)

Si tienen la impression de que ya vieron esta iglesia (pero no son de aqui por supesto!! jaja) tienen casi razon... la iglesia de martinez esta muy parecida, es construido por el mismo arcitecto. (el tambien construio otras iglesias de la IERP)











am ersten Advent war Abends Weihnachtslieder Ansingen. Eine sehr sehr schöne Andacht, mit Posaunenchor, Tannenbaum, Krippe, Kerzen (und Ventilatoren, die auf Hochtouren gelaufen sind) nur leider vier Wochen zu früh... was macht der arme Pfarrer den jetzt an Weihnachten???

the first of advent we went to an evening of singing adventssongs. It was a very very nice evening with "Posaunenchor", a christmastree, crib, candels (and a ventilator that ran like crazy), just 4 weeks too early... what is that poor pastor doing on christmas eve???

El primer de adviento, tuvieron un abierto de adviento. Fue un devotional muy muy lindo, con un coro de broces, un arbol de navidad, un pesebre y velas (y un ventilator que trabajo como loco... pero bueno, para ustedes que leen este en espaniol no es tan raro probablamente), solo era 4 semanas demasiado temprano... que hace el pastor para navidad???



Das "Unterlegen" des Musik vom Chor mit Bildern war eine große Neuheit für die Gemeinde, aber allen hat es gut gefallen. Und es stimmt auch, es war sehr besinnlich und weihnachtlich!!!

To put pictures on the wall while singing was something very new for that parish, but everybody liked it a lot. And they were right, that gave a very calm and festive atmosphäre!!!

Poner imagines en la pared mientras cantar era algo muy nuevo para este paroquia. Pero parece que les gustaba muchissimo. Y con razon. Fue muy lindo, tranquillo y festivo!!!


TO-O-OCHTER ZIOOOOOOOOOOOON =)

Jetzt stimmt die Chronologie nicht mehr so ganz...naja... am 13.11. waren wir bei der Trapezvorführung von Carmen (die junge Frau, die am Vertikaltuch (danke Philipp) hängend Geige spielt) und ihrer Gruppe. Wie immer sind die Fotos nicht so richtig gut geworden, wegen Dunkelheit und schnellen Bewegungen, aber man trotzdem einen kleinen Eindruck. Live war es auf jeden Fall unglaublich beeindruckend!!!

Now the posts aren't in the correct timeline anymore ... well... We went to a trapezshow of Carmen (the young lady, that was playing the violin hanging on one of these long clothes) and her group on the 13. of Noviember. Like always, my camera doesn't really make great pictures when it's dark and somebody moves fast, but at least you can get a little impression. Seeing it live was definitly incredible!!!

Mhm, la cronica de las notas no mas es correcta ... pues ... el 13.11. fuimus a una show de trapez de Carmen (la chica que la violina mientras estaba colgado en la tela) y su grupo. Lavatiblamente mi camera no hace fotos muy lindas cuando es muy obscuro y / o hay mucho movimiento... pero iqual, se puede ver un poco de lo que era impressionante cuando lo ví en vivo!!!

noch ein kurzer Eintrag zu meinem aktuellen, realtiv alltäglichen, Leben. Am letzten Freitag abend haben wir uns mit Freunden getroffen, brasilianische Käsebrötchen, Panchos (Hotdogs) und Pizza gegessen und Bier (ja ja, auch die Argentinier trinken nicht immer Mate) getrunken... Es war sehr schön!!! Da ich meine Kamera vergessen hatte, gibts jetzt auch mal ein paar Bilder von mir =)

another short entry about my dayly live. Last friday we met at some friends house, we ate brasilian, argentinan (Panchos more or less the same like hotdogs) and italian (pizza) food and drank - no , no mate, but beer... it was a reall great evening! As i forgot my camera, this time there are also fotos with me =)

otro nota con respecto a mi vida re diario ahora =) El ultimo viernes nos encontramos con alungos amigos para comer Panchos, pizza y estas panes pequenias super ricas de brasil con queso... y para tomar cerveza .... no, no siempre tomamos mate. Estaba una noche re linda!!! Como olvidé mi camera, ahora tambien hay algunos fotos con migo ;-)

ich weiß nicht, ob das in Deutschland grad auch so in ist (mhm, vermutlich nicht, schließlich ist herbst und niemand hat lust, im park an den Bäumen zu hängen, also wird es wohl frühestens nächsten Sommer kommen...) aber hier ist es eine so ähnliche trendsportart wie shakkeline (wie immer man das schreibt) nur viel viel cooler (allerdings auch viel schwieriger). Eine meiner Kommilitoninnen ist eine richtige Artistin und übt immer in unserem Garten. Die unterschiedlichen Fähigkeiten sind den Bildern unschwer zu entnehmen =)

i don*t know, if you know this in Europe and Northamerica, here it is very hip, in the parks a lot of these are hanging from the trees. It seems a little bit like shakkeline (i don*t know how you write that, but last summer it was THE sport everybody was doing in germany, its a big line between two trees), but it's a lot more difficuilt. One of my student fellows is really good in it and always practising in our garden... The different abilitys are well seen in the pictures =)

bueno, en espaniol no hay que escribir tanto, me parece que esta tela esta muy comun afuera de argentina tambien?! Una de mis companeras es una artista muy buena y practicando siempre en nuestro jadin. Las differentes possibilidades se puede ver muy bien en las fotos ... =)
