My time in Buenos Aires

Samstag (vor zwei Wochen):
war das erste Mal in einem Projekt der IERP (der hiesigen evangelischen Kirche). Es heißt "Casa San Pablo" (Haus des heiligen Paulus) und ist in einem relativ armen Viertel. Jede Menge Leute dort kümmern sich mit allem was man so braucht um die Menschen, die dort wohnen. Es gibt Ärztesprechstunden und Nachhilfe, Essensausgabe, eine Mädchengruppe, und jeden Samstag so eine Art Jungschar. Da war ich jetzt schon zweimal und habe schon mein Herz daran verloren =) bisher gibt es nur ein paar Fotos, aber ich glaube, dass ihr im Laufe des Jahres noch mehr davon sehen werdet...

Saturday (two weeks earlier):
for the first time I went to one of the projects of the IERP (the lutheran church of Argentinia, Paraguay and Uruguay). It's called "Casa San Pablo" (house of saint Paul)
and it's located in one of the poorer parts around Buenos Aires. People there are taking care of the habitants with everything that is necessary. There are doctors around and help with schoolstuff, free lunch and a group for the girls. Every saturday they meet for some kind of christian youthgroup. I participated two times and allready I lost my heart =) so, unitl now, there are just some fotos, but I'm pretty sure there will be more during the year...

Sabato (hace dos semanas):
para la primera vez me fue a un proyecto de la IERP (la iglesia lutherana aca). Se llama "Casa San Pablo". Esta en unos de los barrios mas pobres en la provincia. Hay varias personas que estan trabajando con la gente alla. Hay turnos de los doctores, apoyo escholar, merienda socialidara, un grupo para chicas. Y cada sabato un manana de los pebes (y los otros edades tambien). Participe dos vezes ahora y ya pedie mi corazon ala =) No hay tantas fotos ahora, pero muy seguramente van a venir mas durante ese ano...

das ist der größte Raum, hier treffen sich alle zum Plenum (die letzten zwei Male haben wir hier gelernt, welche Sprachen man in Bolivien lernt und wie die Fahne von Paraguay aussieht). Jeden zweiten Sonntag im Monat wird auch Gottesdienst gefeiert.

this is the biggest room. We meet here in the big group (the last two times we learnt, what languages they speak in Bolivia and how the flag of Paraguay looks like). Every second saturday, there is also a mass talking place.

esto es el cuarto mas grande. Aqui se reunen todos (los dos semanas antes aprendimos, qual idiomas se habla en Bolivia y como parece la banda de Paraguay). Cada 15 dias hay un culto tambien.

Sonntag (vor zwei Wochen):
Die deutsche Auslandsgemeinde hat Gemeindefest gefeiert und das haben wir uns natürlich nicht entgehen lassen. Das Wetter war super, der Gottesdienst war bilinugue, nicht so furchtbar deutsch wie befürchtet (wenn auch in einer sehr hübschen aber sehr deutschen kleinen Kirche), die Predigten richtig gut und die Gesellschaft super nett =) ... aber... es ist eine andere Welt...

Sunday (two weeks ago):
The german church in a foureign country (i have no clue, how to translate that in proper english. The german protestant church has small parishes in almost every capital in the world for the germans who live and work there for a couple of years mostly) had her parishparty and of course we went there. The weather was great, the mass was in german and spanish and not as german as i expected =) - though the church is very nice but very german, and the sermons were really great.... though... thats another world...

Domingo (hace dos semanas):
la iglesia alemana (de la EKD) tenia su fiesta de la paroquia y claro, que nos fuimos para conoczer la. Estaba muy lindo el tiempo, el culto era bilingue y no tan aleman como recelaba (aunque hay una iglesia muy linda pero bien de alemania del norde) y los dos sermones eran muy buenos ... tal cual... es otro mundo...

hier wohnt der deutsche Pfarrer (hier könnt ich mir durchaus auch vorstellen zu wohnen *smile*)

21.09 : Frühlingsbeginn... heute war es so warm und schön wie an keinem Sommertag dieses Jahr in Deutschland (zumindest nicht, solange ich noch dort war). Ich konnte schon in Rock und T-shirt draußen rumlaufen... und unseren immer bunter werdenden Garten genießen

21/09: First day of spring... today the weather was that nice, I can't recall a summerday as nice as this one from the summerdays I had this year in Germany. It was warm enough to wear a skirt and tshirt. And with the sun also comes the color to our garden

21.09: dia de primavera... y de verdad, hoy era un dia super lindo... no me recuerdo que habia un dia asi en el verano de alemania este ano (por lo menos no, cuando yo todavia estaba alla) Con falda y camiseta disfrutando los colores que vienen con el sol





außerdem habe ich sehr spannende Tiere entdeckt. Auf dem Foto sieht man das nicht ganz so gut, aber die aufrecht stehenden Blattteile werden von Ameisen getragen

there are very interesting animals living just in front of our house. It was a bit difficuilt to talk a good picture of that, but the pieces of leaves are carried by ants

Während ich mich mit derartig interessanten Dingen beschäftige, wie schnell laufende Insekten mit meiner nur bedingt guten Kamera scharf zu fotographieren, versucht Basti Milka, unserem Hund das Stöckchenspiel beizubringen

was allerdings nur mäßig funktioniert

zu beider Ehrenrettung muss man allerdings sagen, dass das gleiche Spiel mit dem neu entdeckten Fußball ziemlich gut funktioniert...

to be honest, I have to say that they also play that game with a football they found and it works a lot better...

pero si, hay que decir que tambien estan jugando este con una pilota y ya funciona mucho mejor...



Kuchala (wie auch immer man das richtig schreibt) sonnt sich währenddessen lieber und beobachtet die Aufregung entspannt

Außerdem war heute auch noch Tag des Studenten (es gibt hier für ALLES einen Tag im Jahr, Tag der Sekretärin, Tag des Lehrers, Tag des Kindes...), wir hatten frei und haben gestern reingefeiert.... davon gibt es allerdings keine Fotos, weil meine Kamera von der Dunkelheit im Partyraum besiegt wurde...

Apart from that, today was the day of the students (as they have a special day for everybody here), we haven't had classes and we celebrated yesterday night... but my camera was defeated by the darkness in the room, so there are no pictures...

Feliz dia de los estudiantes!!! hoy no habia clase y ayer por la noche festijarmos un poco. Pero el cuadro era demasiado obscuro, entonces no hay fotos...

wie die Überschrift sagt, handelt es sich bei dem Friedhof Ricoletta, der im reicheren Norden der Stadt liegt, tatsächlich um eine Stadt der Toten... genauso in Quadraten aufgebaut und mit kleinen "Häuschen" als
Grab...

As I named this entry, Ricoletta, the cementry in the richer north of the city really is a city of the dead... it has the same structure as the big city and the graves looks more like little houses...

Como llamaba este texto, el cementario de Ricoletta, que es en el mas rico Norde de la cuidad, parece como una cuidad de muertos... Tambien tiene la structura de los cuadros y las tumbas son muy parecida casas... por lo menos para mi de alemania que solo conosco tumbas en el suelo...

Außerdem ist hier Evita begraben // and of course, Evita's grave can be found here // y claro que hay la tumba de Evita aqui



außerdem haben sie eine sehr schöne Friedhofskirche // apart from that it has a very nice chaple // ademas tienen una capilla muy linda



Es ist ein seltsames Gefühl, als Tourist auf einem Friedhof unterwegs zu sein, der noch benutzt wird, mehr als das eine Mal das man es eben tut, weil es im Touristenführer steht muss nicht sein!

I have to confess, that it is more than strange to go sightseeing on a cementary that is still used... more than the one time you have to go because it's in the tourist guide, i won't do it!

Hay que decir, que ir a un cementario como tourista no me gusto mucho, si una vez hay que ir, porque es en las guias touristicas, pero otra vez... no si no es obligatorio!
