My time in Buenos Aires

Noch ein Punkt der auf meiner ToDo Liste stand: Lujan!
Die Legende erzählt, dass ein wohlhabender Mann eine Marienstatue für seine Kapelle haben wollte und sich darum bemüht hat, selbige aus Brasilien zu bekommen. In der Nacht machten sie Rast in Lujan und am nächsten Morgen konnten sie erst weiterreisen, als sie die Maria dort abgesetzt hatten. Mit ihr war der Waagen plötzlich so schwer, dass er sich nicht fortbewegen lies. Der fromme Mann sah das als Zeichen dafür, dass diese Marienstatue sich ihren Platz selber ausgesucht hatte. *** Another point on my ToDo-list: Lujan
It is said, that once upon a time a religious man wanted a figure of Maria to put in his capel to pray in front of her. He asked for one from Brasil. One night they rested in this place today known as Lujan, but when they tried to continue the trip, they couldn't until they left the Maria where she was. With the figure, the trolley was to heavy to go on the journey. The man thought that this Maria used her place to stay for herself and left her in that place. *** Otro punto en mi ToDo-lista: Lujan
Dice la historia (como yo la entendi) que habia un hombre piodoso que quiso una figura de maria para orar antes de ella en su capilla y lo pidió de Brasil. Una noche en la viaje dormieron en el lugar que hoy se llama Lujan. El otro dia no puden siguir sino bajaron la Maria del coche. El hombre lo vio que la Maria elejio el lugar para ella misma y la dejaba alla Heute ist Lujan ein Ort in der Provinz Buenos Aires und die Maria von Lujan ist DIE Maria Argentiniens. Vor ein paar Wochen haben wir vier (siehe Foto *g*) uns auf den Weg gemacht, um uns diesen wichtigen Ort mit eigenen Augen anzugucken.
(um Missverständnissen vorzubeugen, wir waren eine Gruppe von drei Theologen und einer Kubanerin, wir sind also nicht als gläubige Pilger sondern als interessierte Touristen dorthin gefahren!) *** Today Lujan is a small town that belongs to the province of Buenos Aires and is known as THE Maria of Argentina. Some weeks ago we (see foto *smile*) went there to see this important place with our own eyes.
(just to avoid missunderstandings, we went as three protestant theolgians and a cubanian girl, so at least I didn't go as a religious pilgrim but as a very interested tourist!) *** Hoy en dia Lujan es una cuidad pequena en la provincia de buenos aires y la Maria de Lujan es LA Maria de Argentina.
Algunos semanas antes nosotros (ve la foto *jajajaja*) nos fuimos para ver este lugar tan especial con nuestros proprios ojos.
(para evitar directamente todos los mal entendimientos, nosotros fuimos una cubana y tres teologos protestantes - asi por lo menos yo no fue como pelegrina fiel pero mas bien como turista interesada!)

Das Wetter war gut und der Ort ist sehr schön! Rund um die Kirche ist ein Dauerjahrmarkt aufgebaut *** The weather was really nice and the place is beautiful. Just around the church there is a big market *** El tiempo fui super lindo y el lugar es hermoso. Alrededor de la iglesia hay una feria grande der sehr schön an einem Fluss gelegen ist *** located nicely next to a river *** al lado de un river grande * Richtige Pilger kommen aber erstmal hier an, in diesem Refugio *** the real pilgrims arrive here *** pero los pelegrinos verdaderos llegan primero aqui en este refugio in diesem schattigen und hübschen Innenhof fand sich auch folgende Kuriosität (auf dem Schild steht "Taufen") *** in this pretty and shady garden I also found that funny sign (it says "bauptisms") *** por ahi tambien se encontro este cartelito curiosa =) Von dort ist es nicht mehr weit bis zur Kirche *** from there the church is really near *** no falta mucho hasta llegar a la iglesia * Leider wurde der Altarraum gerade renoviert und meine Kamera weigert sich auch hartnäckig schöne Fotos von innerhalb einer Kirche zu machen. Aber sie sieht ein bisschen aus, wie die in La Plata. *** unfortunatly the altar was just under construction and apart from that my camera doesn't like taking nice pictures in churches...But it looks a lot like the one in La Plata. *** Lavatiblemente estaban renovando el altar y a partir de eso mi camera no le gusta a hacer fotos lindas desde dentro de una iglesia... Pero esta muy parecido a la de La Plata.


Vor der Kirche kann man sich von einem Priester segnen lassen, oder in den vielen kleinen Geschäften Andenken, Rosenkränze, Statuen, Ketten, Bilder ... kaufen *** In front of the church was a priest that blesses the pilgrims. You could either do that or buy little souveniers in one of the many shops: rosaries, figures, jewelery, paintings ... *** a frente de la iglesia habia un sacerdote que daba bendiciones a la gente. Tambien habian un monton de tiendas donde vendieron souvenirs: rosarios, figuras pequenas de la Maria, catenas, imagines... * Das allercoolste aus meiner Sicht war allerdings die Ausstellung im Keller der Kirche: Maria in aller Welt. Jedes Land konnte seine Maria oder auch seine Marien dort ausstellen und den dazugehörigen Bereich individuell gestalten. Da ich von sowas begeistert bin, habe ich Unmengen von Fotos geschossen und werde euch einen Teil davon jetzt einfach auch zum angucken hochladen, lohnt sich auf alle Fälle.
Besonders schön finde ich Korea, weil man so herrlich die Kontextualisierung sieht und theologisch besonders spannend fand ich die Maria (ich glaub, sie ist aus Tschechien, aber ich weiß es nicht mehr) die als Schäferin inmitten ihrer Schafe sitzt, mit Jesus auf dem Schoß *** the thing i definitly liked most was the big exhibition in the crypta of the church: Maria from all over the world. Every country could show its Maria(s) and decorate her space. I really loved it so i took amounts of fotos. I'll put some here to share with you, just to watch them, I think it's really worth seeing them.
The most beautiful in my eyes was the one from Korea, as you perfectly see from where she is and who created her place.
The most interesting from a theological point of view is the one, that sits like a shephard with her sheeps around here, having Jesus by her side (I think she is from Chechia but I'm not sure)

De mi punto de visto lo mejor era definitivamente la exibicion en el subterreno de da iglesia! MARIA de todo mundo. Cada pais puede monstrar su Maria(s) y decorar su espacio alli. Estaba super lindo, sace arto fotos. Les voy a monstrar algunas para compartir mi impression, a mi me parece que realmente vale la pena solo por eso irse =)
La mas linda a mi me parece la de Korea, porque se puede ver tanto el contexto de donde viene ella y quien construyo su lugar.
Desde un punto de vista teologico, la de la republica Checa (por lo menos creo yo que era de alla) me parece lo mas interesante. Es ella que esta como pastora en el medio de sus ovechas con Jesus en su falda. * * * * * * * * * * * Aber natürlich ist die Maria von Lujan hier die wichtigste *** but of course the most important Maria here is the one from Lujan *** pero claro, aca mismo la mas importante es la Maria de Lujan Das ist die Maria, die momentan in der Kirche steht, an die man direkt seine Gebete herantragen kann. *** This is the one who actually stands in the church and to whom you can come and bring your prayers. *** este es la figura de Maria que ahora esta en la iglesia para verla y para ir y traer sus oraciones Es heißt, dass die Maria von Lujan Krankheiten heilt... *** it's said, that this Maria heals illnesses... *** se dice que esta Maria cura enfermedades... Einiges an diesem Ort war für mein gut protestantisches Herz schon etwas befremdlich, aber unter den Vorzeichen eines Tages als Touristen war es super: viel gesehen, gutes Wetter, neue Dinge gelernt... was will man mehr ;-) *** I have to admit, that for me - being a good german protestant - some things there where rather strange, but going there as tourist was just great: we saw a lot, we had great weather and we learnt many new things... what else do you want ;-) *** ser honesto, en este lugar hay muchas cosas raras para mi corazon tan aleman protestante, pero sabiendo que fuimos como touristas fue un dia genial! Vemos muchas cosas, el clima era buenissimo y aprendimos mucho tambien... que mas uno puede querer ;-)
